All India Radio begins a weekly program geared toward job seekers and students on 100.1 FM Gold

On Saturday, All India Radio (AIR) inaugurated a weekly interactive program for job seekers and students studying for competitive exams. The inaugural episode of the 30-minute program, ‘Abhyaas,’ will air on 100.1FM GOLD at 9.30 p.m. on Saturday, according to a statement from the All India Radio’s News Services Division.

According to the All India Radio website, the program was developed with the goal of reaching out to students and job-seekers preparing for various competitive examinations.

“The first episode of Abhyaas for Competitive Examinations, which will air at 9.30 p.m. today on 100.1 FM GOLD,” it said. The program is also available “on Twitter at @airnewsalerts, on the air news official YouTube Channel, and on the NewsonAir App,” according to the program’s website.

The program will be televised every Saturday from 9:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., according to the public broadcaster. 

“A notable academician will react to the listeners’ queries,” All India Radio said, adding that “the weekly interactive program will contain segments like Explainers, Factfile, Examination Calendar, and Question of the Week with a musical break.” “Students can email their queries on WhatsApp number 9289094044 or write to abhyaas.air@gmail.com until April 5 for the next episode on April 9,” it read. Indian Polity and Constitution have been picked as the subject for the coming week, according to the statement.
