The Saffron Hijab of Karnataka: Students playing with Communal Fire

Karnataka is burning under the fire of protest, intensified protest, a protest that must not be witnessed and totally irrelevant. This protest is turning into a battle between students from two communities, Hindu and Muslim.  This is a useless and shameful battle going between Hindu and Muslim students. And as always wherever is the religion, there we can easily spot hatemongers politicians who are ready to burn the whole city just for the sake of their vote bank.

Now almost everyone is aware of the news thread about the Hijab row, more precisely we can call it the “Political Hijab Scandal”. Of course, this is a scandal. The scandal has brought the concept of the Educational system under a scanner on the basis of religious ground. How one can expect the future of India if students are being radicalized on religious grounds at a very tender age? This is the age at which they must be busy with Pythagoras Theorem or Golden accounting rule or Young’s double-slit experiment. But see what they are up to?

For a very sure reason, they are not real students, they are paid artists who are trying to defame the students. Real students are in their classroom studying hard for their future (a concept of WhatsApp University). The whole protest seems to confiscate from the classroom, ultimately from education. There are a few questions arising from this hatemongering activity like, Why hijab is required in school? How can one wear Burka in the name of a Hijab? What is the problem with Hijab if Sikh students are allowed with turbans? Who gave the idea of the saffron shawl to innocent (not now)?

Udupi, the Centre of Hijab-Saffron war

Udupi might be seen as the Centre of this Hijab-Saffron War that erupted in Karnataka but the actual center is the poor ideology more precisely the Right-wing mindset that is willing to oppress the women. How? Like Ghunghat was oppressing women. The problem with Special Religion is wanted to be called themselves secular & centered-wing but in actuality, they are real right-wingers. The right-wing are those opposed to the social changes in the name of religion, culture, and history. When you will go through the definition, you will find both students groups are right-wingers. And right-wingers from two religions are fighting in Karnataka to prove their religious superiority.

Last month, the administration of Government Pre-University College, Udupi (Coastal Karnataka) has started all this drama that can be avoided by just giving warning emails or letters to those who were violating the Dress code. But who wants peace, we are living in a country where everyone mocks the peace and preach givers. Six Muslim girls were barred from entering college wearing Hijab. But when you will look at those girls, they were not wearing the hijab that was full Burka (veil). Not sure whether it is Burka or Niqab but for sure it is not Hijab.

The full veil is defeating the purpose of the Dress code at School. The purpose of the Dress code is to make every student equal in the eye of education and not to be judged on the basis of caste, religion, poverty, richness, race, and gender. But who believes in this picture? Everyone is busy glorifying their religion. They do this because they knew about their future, one community student is going to open a Puncture repair workshop and another community is going to open Pakoda Stall. That is also a type of employment!!!

Who is the Mastermind of the Saffron war in Karnataka?

Hindu Girls protesting

Obviously, one who fails to argue logically with the stupid mindset of violating the Dress code. Instead of brainstorming to find an answer, they choose to bring proper religion based on an idiom, Loha lohe ko kaata-ta hai. So Hindu students also became dress code violators. But the idea of the saffron shawl? Everyone in the country knows that saffron is more political than religious. Saffron is an ATM of the vote for the Ruling Bhartiya Janta Party. So, the idea might have come from the ruling party because why would Congress or other parties do the same? The opposition has already chosen the side of the Hijab.

Either BJP or Congress must not have indulged in this shameful act and must have intervened to resolve the matter to maintain not only the peace but the safeguard the future of the country. If appropriate action is not being taken, then it will become the trend in the country and schools will sooner become battlegrounds. Obviously, if one will do research they can find the PFI and other Right-wings associations indulged in protests but no one should care about them, we have to keep our students away from these stupid protests.

Priyanka Gandhi tweeted out of the box

Being out of the box is a good thing in every sector but Priyanka Gandhi has taken a step above. The people are arguing over Hijab and Saffron shawl and she tried to be reflected as a Feminist and a supporter of Muslims. But instead of that, she showed that she knows nothing about the matter still she has to say something because this is trending on Twitter. So she dragged Bikini in the debate for no reason. To our knowledge, there is no such school in the world that allows girls to come to school in bikinis.

How to conclude these protests?

Muslims want Hijab and Hindus want Saffron. If that is the case, then the higher bench of the Karnataka High Court must order the State government to make Hijab compulsory for every Muslim Girl, a Hijab saffron in color. The Saffron Hijab might be good as Hindu Right-wingers will not raise an objection to anything if the color is Bhagwa. This will serve the interest of Muslim and Hindu right-wingers.

  1. True, school is for education not for politics so everyone have to follow the rule and regulations as previous one. Only school dress are allowed beyond the caste and race. Rule must be same for each and every child
