Kramatorsk Rocket Attack: A rocket attack on a train station in Kramatorsk, Ukraine

Kramatorsk Rocket Attack: On Friday, dozens of civilians were killed in a rocket attack on a railway station in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk, as civilians rushed to flee the Donbas region, which was in the crosshairs of the Russian Army. In one of the bloodiest hits of the six-week-old battle, at least 50 people were murdered, including five children, according to Pavlo Kyrylenko, the Governor of the Donetsk region. According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, 300 people were hurt during the walkout, which he described as “evil without bounds.” The facility is used to evacuate individuals from locations where Russian forces are bombing. Kyiv has been accused by Russia of staging the attack.

Russia, on the other hand, blamed Kyiv for the deadly attack. “The attack on the railway station in Kramatorsk was carried out by the Kyiv regime in order to prevent the mass exodus of civilians from the city in order to utilize them as a ‘human shield’ to defend the positions of Ukraine’s military forces,” the Defence Ministry said.

As part of a fresh package of penalties targeting Russia’s economy, businessmen, and oligarchs in punishment for the Kremlin’s invasion of Ukraine, Britain and the European Union have added two adult daughters of Russian President Vladimir Putin to their sanctions list.

The death toll in Kramatorsk Rocket Attack strike has risen to 50, with five children among them

Strikes on a train station in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk killed at least 50 people, including five children, according to the local governor. “Fifty people were killed, five of them children. On Telegram, Pavlo Kyrylenko, the Governor of the Donetsk region, said, “This is the death toll at this hour after the strike by Russian occupying forces on the railway station in Kramatorsk.”

He cautioned that the number of victims is likely to fluctuate, stating that 98 individuals, including 16 children, have been injured. Mr. Kyrylenko claimed that 12 of the victims died in hospitals as a result of their injuries, while the other 38 were slain “on the spot.” “The occupiers must be punished for their crimes,” he stated.

The train station was attacked on Friday morning, as hundreds of people gathered to be evacuated from eastern Ukraine, where a further Russian invasion looms.

Ukraine is accused by Moscow of organizing the Kramatorsk attack

On Friday, Russia accused Kyiv of carrying out a horrific attack on a railway station in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk, which killed dozens of people.

“The goal of the Kyiv regime’s attack on Kramatorsk’s railway station was to prevent the mass exodus of civilians from the city in order to utilize them as a ‘human shield’ to defend the positions of Ukraine’s armed forces,” according to a statement from the Defense Ministry. The attack was launched by Ukrainian soldiers from Dobropillya, 45 kilometers (27 miles) southwest of Kramatorsk, according to the Ministry.

“Only the Ukrainian armed forces use Tochka-U tactical missiles, parts of which were discovered near the Kramatorsk railway station,” the Ministry noted.

Earlier on Friday, the Ministry denied responsibility for the strike, which killed at least 39 people, including at least four children, and said it was a “provocation” on the part of the Ukrainian side.
