CJI N. V. Ramana instructs Telangana Judicial Officers, “Remember the human aspect.”

On Friday, Chief Justice of India N.V. Ramana ordered district court officers to “create a welcoming environment” for litigants and “consider the human component” when adjudicating matters.

He was addressed during the Telangana State Judicial Officers Conference-2022’s inaugural session. “Respect everyone” and strive to empathize with members of minorities and the disadvantaged portions of society.

The CJI informed the judicial officials that the judiciary “was a check on executive excesses” and that they should stay up with changes in the law as well as improvements in other fields such as science and technology. The CJI stated that financial stability was critical for judicial officers to perform their best, that he had recently met with the Pay Commission, and that “good news” was on the way.

CJI praised KCR

He praised Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhara Rao for offering all facilities to judicial personnel in a timely manner. According to Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma of the Telangana High Court, there has been a rise in judicial indiscipline.

While making the inaugural address, the CJ of the HC observed, “Senior counsels are being mistreated…some officers are not punctual.” According to Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma, there are eight lakh cases outstanding in district courts. For cases to be resolved quickly, a better and more contemporary judicial infrastructure was required. Judicial personnel is expected to take the initiative in resolving backlogs of pending cases.
