PM Modi announces the AYUSH mark for traditional medicine

PM Modi also stated that India will soon introduce the AYUSH mark category for people seeking traditional medical treatment in the nation. The abbreviation AYUSH stands for Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy, and the BJP administration established a distinct ministry of AYUSH to promote these disciplines.

In the presence of Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth and WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus, Mr. Modi spoke after the opening of the three-day Global AYUSH Investment and Innovation Summit at Mahatma Mandir in Gujarat.

India will shortly adopt the AYUSH mark, which will guarantee the authenticity of the country’s high-quality AYUSH products. The mark will be granted to products that have been thoroughly tested utilizing cutting-edge technology. “This will give consumers around the world confidence that they are buying high-quality AYUSH products,” Mr. Modi remarked.
