COVID: A new device is being developed to eliminate the COVID threat from enclosed spaces

The COVID-19 pandemic isn’t over yet, so don’t let your guard down just yet. Rural innovator Narishma Chary Mandaji has added ‘Instashield,’ a medical device with CCMB-approved virus attenuation technology, to the list of products in the fight against SARS-CoV-2. He claims that it can kill viruses in enclosed spaces, in the air, and on the surface with a 99.9% efficacy.

“I’ve been relentlessly working on building a technology that can fight this virus as well as other viruses since the COVID-19 outbreak.” Mr. Chary, who was previously credited with developing a formulation of re-glowing filament-less light without choke and starter, said, “I am happy that my efforts have now taken shape and are finally going to be of use to mankind.”

According to him, Instashield is a plug-and-play device based on an electron-based technology that produces hypercharged high-velocity electrons that interact with the corona family of viruses’ negative seeking s-protein, reducing infectivity and preventing air and surface-borne transmission.

Instashield to protect from COVID

Instashield co-promoter and director Hitesh M. Patel said in a press release that a single device has an effective coverage area of 5,000 sq. ft., activates in 18 minutes, and can cover an entire room in 120 minutes.

Mr. Chary’s technology can be used in a variety of settings, including schools, colleges, offices, banks, hospitals, clinics, conference rooms, and more. “We had a 15-day soft launch and it’s now available online.” We hired an all-India distributor and sold approximately 1800 units. We made 1.70 crores in sales and aimed for 14 crores in a year,” he said.

Telangana State Innovation Council and International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials are said to have backed the device. It has been lab-tested and certified by CSIR-CCMB as well as other labs such as Vimta, ensuring that it is completely safe for humans and the environment. The COVID protecting device has also been registered as a sustainable product with MSME, Start-up India, and the GEM portal.
