According to an official, Madhya Pradesh’s first women’s cricket academy will be established in the Shivpuri district, and a talent hunt program to recruit players will begin on Monday. Shivpuri is the Assembly constituency of state Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia.

Madhya Pradesh will start a Talent search 

On February 28, a talent search for the State women’s cricket academy will commence. It will be open to everyone aged 14 to 21, he said. The academy’s initial talent search will take place in Indore on February 28 and March 1. The practice is open to players from all districts in the Indore and Ujjain divisions, according to a government release.

Similarly, on March 2 and 3, the state capital will host a talent search for the districts of Bhopal, Narmadapuram, and Sagar divisions, according to the statement. 

It will be held in Jabalpur on March 4 and 5, for the districts of the Jabalpur division, and in Shivpuri on March 7 and 8, for the districts of the Gwalior and Chambal divisions, according to the statement. The Sports Department in M.P. provides free education, lodging, food, and training equipment to selected players in all academies, it stated.
